Traffic Manager: Free Browser Traffic Signal Game

Traffic Manager is a free browser-based traffic signal game. You step into the role of a traffic controller managing real intersections, toggling signals between red and green to keep cars moving, prevent gridlock, and avoid crashes. No download, no account required. Open the page and start playing.

How to Play

Each intersection has multiple signal heads, one per approach lane. Click any signal to turn it green. A brief yellow phase appears before it returns to red. Cars queue behind red signals and advance on green. The challenge: give conflicting lanes green at the same time and they will collide. Keep all directions balanced and moving to maximize throughput and clear the intersection.

Signal Modes

Choose how you want to control traffic. By Direction groups all lanes facing the same way under a single click, making it easier to manage. Per Lane gives every turn and through lane its own independent signal, adding a harder layer of control.

The Levels: Real Atlanta Intersections

What sets Traffic Manager apart from other traffic games is that every level is mapped from real satellite imagery of Atlanta, Georgia. You are not managing a made-up grid. You are controlling actual intersections with the exact geometry, turn lanes, and approach angles found on the ground.

Tips

Watch the frustration bars on waiting cars. In Survival mode, if the lead car's anger meter fills completely the game ends. Prioritize whichever direction has the longest queue. Avoid giving opposing straight-through lanes green at the same time as conflicting turns. When in doubt, let one direction fully clear before switching.
